Mezcal Margarita

Ingredients
  

  • 100 ml Mezcal or Tequila
  • 100 ml Fresh Lime Juice + Lime slices to garnish about 5-6 limes
  • 2 tbsp honey or agave syrup
  • 4 tbsps water
  • 1/8 tsp salt to taste
  • ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Make the honey syrup by heating together the honey and water over a high heat until you achieve a syrupy consistency (about 5 mins). Allow to cool.
  • Squeeze the lime juice into a cocktail shaker and add the Mezcal/Tequila, salt, and honey syrup. Mix well.
  • Add a few ice cubes to the cocktail shaker and shake well.
  • Taste and add more salt if necessary.
  • Pour into a glass over ice cubes or neat depending on personal preference
  • Garnish with a slice of lime and Enjoy!
