Dairy-Free Smoked Mackerel Paté
A delcious, and tangy smooth paté perfect for spreading or dipping!

- 200 g smoked mackerel fillets
- 2 large lemons
- sml bunch fresh parsley (about 15g) flat or curly are both fine
- 1 tsp crushed black pepper
Peel the skin from the smoked mackerel fillets and discard.
Juice the 2 lemons.
Remove parsley leaves from stalks and roughly chop.
Flake mackerel fillets into the mixer and add the lemon juice and chopped parsley leaves.
Add a generous amount of crushed black pepper.
Blend for 2-3 minutes, scraping down the sides of the mixer so that the mixture becomes smooth.
Serve.
