Chop up the chilli and crush or finely chop the garlic.
Add to the honey and spread the mixture all over the salmon fillets.
Season with salt and pepper and leave to marinate for up to 1 hour.
Heat the sesame oil in a frying pan and add the salmon.
Sprinkle over half of the sesame seeds and cook for about 3 mins.
Flip the salmon over, sprinkle over the other half of the seeds and cook for a further 3 mins. (This should ensure a rare salmon fillet which is how I like it - if you prefer yours well done, leave it in the pan for a minute longer on each side!).
