Mulled Wine - Refined Sugar Free

Ingredients
  

  • 750 ml red wine
  • 1 clementine
  • 12 cloves
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 12 dried cranberries (sugarfree) optional
  • 2 slices orange
  • 1 tbsp honey

Garnish

  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 4 slices clementine

Instructions
 

  • Start by studding the clementine all over with the cloves so that they're pressed through the rind.
  • Add the clove studded clementine to a large pan along with all the other spices and fruits.
  • Pour in the bottle of wine and turn the heat to low allowing the wine to warm up gradually.
  • Once the wine has warmed through, add the honey and stir to dissolve. You can add more or less depending on how sweet you like it.
  • When the honey is dissolved the wine is ready to serve.
  • Ladle into glasses and garnish with a stick of cinnamon and a slice of clementine.
