Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

Ingredients
  

  • 30 asparagus spears
  • 15 slices prosciutto
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt & pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 180C (350F).
  • Remove the dry woody part from the asparagus by trimming about 2cm off the ends.
  • Slice each piece of prosciutto in half lengthways and wrap around the length of the asparagus.
  • Lay the prosciutto wrapped asparagus on a baking tray and drizzle all over with the olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Roast the prosciutto wrapped asparagus in the oven for around 15-20 minutes depending on the thickness of your asparagus spears. (They're done when the asparagus is tender and the prosciutto is crispy).
  • Serve warm, on their own or with a sauce to dip into.
