Remove the dry woody part from the asparagus by trimming about 2cm off the ends.
Slice each piece of prosciutto in half lengthways and wrap around the length of the asparagus.
Lay the prosciutto wrapped asparagus on a baking tray and drizzle all over with the olive oil. Season with salt and pepper.
Roast the prosciutto wrapped asparagus in the oven for around 15-20 minutes depending on the thickness of your asparagus spears. (They're done when the asparagus is tender and the prosciutto is crispy).
Serve warm, on their own or with a sauce to dip into.
