Ingredients

(fresh or frozen)

honey

Instructions
Peel the cooking apples and chop into bite-sized pieces.
Cook on a very low heat in a saucepan with the water and 2 tbsps of the honey until the start to break down. (around 30 mins).
Add the blackberries and stir them through to distribute them evenly.
Preheat your oven to 180C (350F).
In a food processor, add the ground almonds, butter and remaining honey.
Pulse until the ingredients are combined and the mixture resembles a crumble topping.
Transfer the apple and blackberry mixture to an ovenproof dish.
Stir the flaked almonds through the crumble mixture and spoon on top of the apple and blackberry.
Bake for around 20-25 mins until the top of the crumble has browned slightly.
Serve warm with cream, custard or ice cream.
