Instructions
Peel and core the pears.
Add to the food processor along with the apricots and dates.
Blend on high until all combined into a paste. (It doesn't matter if there are still chunks of apricots and dates).
Add the raisins, sultanas and currants and stir through.
Zest the lemon and orange. Add the zest to the bowl along with the juice of the orange.
Add the flaked almonds and spices (cinnamon, mixed spice and nutmeg).
Finally, add the whiskey and stir everything through to combine well.
Store in sterilised glass jars.
