This bag from the Flat Lay Co. is something special!  It’s a make up bag and cosmetics mat, all in one that opens completely flat! Great for travel, it keeps everything together in one place and saves tipping everything out of your make-up bag to find things.  It’s got an interior zipper pocket, plus eight elastic brush holders and two, large exterior pockets fastened by velcro.  It’s machine washable too which is great if you’re always spilling you make up everywhere like I do!  It costs £19.99 and comes in so many pretty designs, pink, blue or patterned and you can order yours online now or visit their website!Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide for Travel Lovers 2018 by Emma Eats & Explores

A Travel Towel is always a fantastic addition to any suitcase.  Traditional towels are so bulky and take up so much room, but a travel towel is a perfect solution.  This Tesalate towel is sand repellent, super absorbent and rapid drying!  It’s great for the beach, the gym or yoga and costs £49.  They come in so many stylish colours but my absolute favourite is the Bohemian!  Bright, colourful and perfect for the beach.  And there are designs to suit the man in your life too – I’ve got my eye on the Bora Bora for Dan!Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide for Travel Lovers 2018 by Emma Eats & Explores

 £20 to £50

Men often get forgotten about when it comes to cosmetics, but new brand on the market men-ü has created travel kits made exclusively for men.  The toiletries are incredible quality and they are super concentrated meaning that a little goes a long way.  Great when you’re travelling as they come in super small bottles.  All packaged up in a stylish washbag they’re the perfect gift for any wanderlusting guys out there.  For £24.95 you can get shampoo, shower gel, skin refresher set including shave cream, facial wash and toner and Liquiflex hair gel.  It all comes in a stripy washbag and you can order the on the men-ü websiteUltimate Christmas Gift Guide for Travel Lovers 2018 by Emma Eats & Explores

When I’m travelling I love nothing more than getting into a good book.  Whether it’s lying on the beach or on a long flight or car journey, it really helps to pass the time.  And I especially love books about other travellers!  Turning Left Around The World is the story of husband and wife Helene and David Moore who, when retirement hit, hatched a plan to tour the world.  They planed to go  for a ten month adventure going West and ‘turning left’ ie flying first class.  The book charts their adventures across 4 continents, 15 countries and over 50 flights.  It has beautiful colour photographs and offers advice and tips for finding cheap ways to travel in style.  Well worth a read!Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide for Travel Lovers 2018 by Emma Eats & Explores

If you know someone who likes to keep in shape while travelling then ‘Fifty Places to Run Before You Die‘ is a fantastic gift.  It features competitive races such as marathons and 10Ks aswell as scenic trails off the beaten path.  From the Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc in France to the New York City Marathon, the Vancouver Sun Run to the Grand Canyon, the Dolomites in Italy, to the Great Ocean Road Marathon in Australia all entries illustrated with incredible photos.  Even if you’re not a runner it’s worth it for the amazing pictures.  Available at £18.99 you can buy it online from Abrams & Chronicle.

£50-£100

When it comes to travelling, a spacious holdall is a must.  This Mini-Jen from MiaTui is perfect as it comes with a pocket on the back that slips over the handles of your suitcase or carry-on.  This means your bag fits easily on top of your suitcase and wont fall off as you wheel it along.  They really have though of everything, it’s the perfect size for standard cabin luggage allowance and has multiple pockets inside.  There are also 2 extra bags that come with it, a clear internal bag and a matching clutch bag.  There’s a shoulder strap, key clip, phone pocket, insulated water bottle holder – everything you could ever need!

I have the rose gold colour and love it but it’s sold out now on the website.   However they have ten other gorgeous colours to pick from including black, berry, mustard and metallics so grab yours quick now on their website for £52!

Over £100

An absolute essential for every travel lover is a good carry-on bag.  If you can pack everything into cabin baggage it saves so much time waiting around at luggage carousels.  Unless I’m going for a week I always try and pack everything into hand luggage.  I love my Osprey Rolling Transporter as it’s the perfect cabin bag size and it’s so spacious.  It’s lightweight and water-resistant and comes with a handle and wheels (hence the rolling part!)  It has lots of extendable pockets, lockable zippers and plenty of internal zipped pockets to keep everything separate.  It’s a great investment at £180 as it’s super durable.  If you love it you could also get it in one of the larger sizes for longer trips!  I have the blue version but it also comes in black and red!

So now you have a few ideas for anyone with the travel bug.  I hope something on this Christmas Gift Guide for Travel Lovers has caught your eye and I wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas!
